About the Author:
Jane Packer is at the forefront of modern floral design and is recognized as one of the world s leading florists. Jane is based in London, where she runs two internationally renowned flower shops and a flower school catering to all levels of experience. She also has a flower school and shop in Tokyo and New York, as well as a shop in Korea. Jane has written nine books, including Living with Flowers, Flowers Design Philosophy and World Flowers (Conran Octopus).
From Booklist:
Packer's very contemporary flair with flowers makes other styles of flower arranging appear stodgy and uninspired by comparison. A well-known designer in England, Packer offers instructions for many of the lovely arrangements included here--yet this is not so much a how-to guide as a delightful sourcebook of ideas. Radiant color photographs by Peter Williams provide the perfect complement to Packer's abundant bouquets, swags, wreaths, and topiaries. These floral displays have a casual elegance that begs to be emulated or, at the very least, applauded for the beauty and freshness of their design. Alice Joyce
